HOW TO CELEBRATE THE CARNIVAL IN ROME

HOW TO CELEBRATE THE CARNIVAL IN ROME

The Ancient Carnival in Rome

Stay at our Rome boutique hotel and live in the middle of the authentic Carnival

Come in Rome during its Carnival until 9th of February, as it is a special time of the year, where the streets are plenty of children with their favourites costumes and the pastry shops fill with delicious treats.
Carnevale is one of Italy’s biggest winter festivals, its most important days are Martedì Grasso, a day before the Ash Wednesday, and the other one is the Thursday called Giovedì Grasso.
Live from our boutique hotel the soul of the Carnival, when the historical centre hosts workshops, games, dancing and art performances and its famous masks. Our location is a few minutes away from the starting point of the Carnevale Romano on Piazza Navona, Saturday, February 6th at 2.00 pm with the big Parade.
Leave the hotel and go in a few minutes in the Ancient City on Sunday 7th of February to see the famous Parade of Carri Allegorici, from Piazza Venezia to the Colosseum. Carri Allegorici (Parade floats) are very big machines with scenographic movements effects and italian artistic talent.
